In 1993, only 14 years old, when I was diagnosed with diabetes type 1, my doctor convinced me that we soon have a cure for it. For 33 years I have managed to live 24/7, 365 with a perfect balance of blood sugar tests, insulin, food and exercise. Yes, the technology I use gets sharper for every year but where is the cure? I lost hope that the system that feeds me, costing billions in aids every year, will provide the solution I am looking for, freedom. It’s time for me and my team, with help from my diabetes history, private investments and dividends from my concept to find a solution for millions of kids around the world with diabetes type 1. Fuck diabetes!
